ABOUT THE FILM
Nandi Mariposa is a film about change. The Spirit of Spring, Nandi Mariposa, has arrived and is planting the seeds of life for the new season. The film illustrates her journey as she takes over the lands from the Spirit of Winter.
Visually it draws on past art and storytelling from several cultures and people including American author and illustrator, Eric Carle, Wayang Kulit from Indonesia, and elements from stories told by the Native Americans, Africans, and Mexicans.
